I always had a suspicion that the reason Tesla got so much support from some of the biggest hedge funds in the world was because of the appeal stemming from the idea of fewer car accidents. Basically FSD or the driver assistant would reduce the number of car accidents (which by the way is the leading cause of accidental deaths in America) and for some of these billionaires it was kind of like mission to do some good. However, the plaid doesn't do that its the fastest production car ever produced. If anything its more dangerous. I would be really interested to see how the stock does in the next few weeks. I'm not short but I'm not long either. This car is dangerous right? unless this is all part of a plan to tie in FSD with the plaid model in other words if you buy a plaid model you also have to buy the latest version of the FSD. Could that be the idea? in any case I think this is going to turn some investors off. This is just my opinion (or hunch) and maybe I will short it. Then again I'm already short PLTR and that stock makes Tesla look cheap. Also Elon always has that FSD carrot hanging over every ones head. Any day now a billion robotaxis. What do you guys think?

Yes, Tesla models are very safe. But a street car with 1000 HP and a top speed of over 300 km / h is a dangerous weapon. But that has nothing to do with Tesla, but with the fact that such cars are actually built and receive approval. These cars are also not bought by people who want to promote environmental protection. These cars are only there to give the (for what ever reason) disadvantaged, a higher self-esteem.

On 19/5 was a bear trap in retrospect. It opened gap down but insteas of falling out of bed it went higher. Smart money did this. But now we see it didnt even reach first fib level. If it breaks up from here it cam easily go ~700 area. But unfortunately its trapping retail buyers into positions, ie. Longer term the price structure is very bearish. Last time i added short was in 627 - you can short when 594 if you want to enter with confirmation.

Tesla has a P&E of $614. that means you are paying $614 for the stock to earn $.99. Not a smart buy. Tesla will see a five fold increase in competition in 2022. I will be buying the Rivian in December and it is by far a superior vehicle for about the same cost. Tesla at $200 in late 2022.

Yeah....the Lightning will probably take the biggest piece of the EV truck market, depending on how many they can actually make. I have heard it will be fairly low production at least for the first year or two compared to ice f150s

Jamie Kent waiting to see I'm curious what GM is doing in the ev truck space, and other areas. I think they are holding back a lot of info on their development and could just throw a bunch of new ev trucks, cars, and commercial vehicles in a short time period. There are rumors they have possibly the best fsd as well.

Why? The event yesterday brought nothing. It takes more than just a show. All other car stocks are performing. Only Tesla is stuck. Waiting for new models doesn't help either. The high-end market is limited. Musk should develop the Model 2 very quickly and launch it on the market. In the QCLN ETF, Nio has already replaced Tesla at the top. So how can this stock get to 700 by the end of month?

It sounds like Tesla is the only one on the EV market. Those days are over. Tesla now has to try harder to keep the lead. The argument that Tesla has the best technology is irrelevant. It is relevant who has the best concept and who will sell the most EVs in the future. If, for example, the F-150 Lightning becomes the best-selling EV, it doesn't give a dams about whether Tesla has the better technology.

Excuse me, what would be the "concept" of competition? The only concept they have is to copy the "Tesla concept". You may not have understood it yet, but Tesla's concept is to produce autonomous cars, safe cars, inviolable cars, and at the lowest possible price on the market, the exact opposite of the concept of other brands, which are only interested in the " concept "to make money and not to give a service to humanity, so much so as to invest more in advertising than its product. Not for nothing do you not come here to say that Tesla ****to bring down its value, perhaps even paid for by the competition.

We'll see in a year or two if Tesla is still number 1 in EV. If not, the others did better. Perhaps it was a good thing that VW and others jumped on the EV train rather late as the demand for IEC will exceed EV sales for the next few years. Enough time to learn from Tesla. The concept of bringing an EV tiny to the market in China was also good, as the Wuling Mini EV has overtaken Tesla in a short time, which means that there is demand for such an EV tiny. I also think that EVs like the next Smart or the Apple or Tesla Model 2 study are selling very well. I also think that Ford has done exactly what its customers like with the new Mustang and F-150. We won't know for a year or two. I think that the competition is getting closer rather than Tesla pulling away any further. And what you said about copying, pioneers are always copied. It was like that with the first railroad, the first airplanes, etc. So stop talking about it because it's ridiculous.

maybe....there is a ceiling on battery production levels and cost reduction though; the availability and price of the raw materials needed to make them. Even if price wasn't an issue, I still think availabilty will make it hard to fully replace every ice car and truck in the world currently without some major change in battery composition. The mines can only produce so much annually, and the more they extract the harder and more costly it becomes to mine more.
