I listen to all news, positive or negative. Then I sift through the bull and find out whether or not it's worth the risk to go long or short. I think that's how everybody should assimilate market information. Disregarding any news isn't a good idea, unless it's biased.

Geez... News? or F said the chip shortage is easing? In any case, I had a huge profit on GOOG today, decide to gamble a small portion an 1100 Tesla calls for Friday, despite my spidey senses calling for a couple 1k puts based on the daily technicals (absurdly high RSI and TWO upside down hammers). Maybe should've got both?

3/What most people are missing is the bigger change that is coming in the delivery service sector, it is going to explode. If I need a bag of grass seed for my lawn, I drive to Lowes and buy it. With cheap autonomous vehicles I order online and have it delivered to my house faster and cheaper than me going to buy it. We will go from buying most things in person (currently 86% in the USA) to most things bought online and delivered in minutes to less than an hour. The movement of almost all goods will be done this way in specifically built vehicles, Lowes will have a fleet of vehicles that look like that back of a pickup truck with no cab for delivery of their products, pizza shops will have small things with heated compartments (a few on each one) that opens when the person who ordered taps their phone or however, they decide. Grocery store autonomous EV’s will be about the size of a few shopping carts with 4 parts a hot side, a refrigerated side, a freezer side, and a room temperature side so everything arrives just how you would want it. There will be many different boxes for vehicle specialization, but they will all run on only a handful of autonomous software.

4/Full autonomous software will only be developed by a handful of companies. It is an extremely hard thing to achieve, possibly the hardest thing humas have tried so far. Also, when it’s people’s lives and people’s families they won’t want to use the cheap off brand that’s 99.9% safe, it’s the 99.9999% safe or nothing for many. With the long development time of decades and extreme costs to develop if you can’t get up and running within a couple of years of the first company to solve it (2025 IMO) you won’t get a share of the market. I see only 4 to 8 companies diving up a 5 to 10 trillion-dollar high margin software revenue market. This makes anyone who joins that group a multi trillion-dollar company overnight.

Oh and mobile eye and Tesla are the two leaders in fully autonomy right now mobile eye was bought by intel a little while back and I hold intel expecting them to be a multi T company in the future even if their chip business goes to 0. But if they sell mobile eye I dump that intel that second and buy wherever Mobile eye lands. That might be a more in your investing thesis company than Tesla with a similar upside. Brent, Ok congratulations on your investment, I am hoping Tesla drops below $500 so i can buy some. In the meantime I am holding VW, Daimler, Toyota, Nissan, Renault and some BMW all bought at PER 10. Maybe in 5 years they will have doubled, but I agree no legacy will grow at 1500% like Tesla did in the last 3 years, that was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
