NIO is building an Apple-like infrastructure where they sell both hardware (cars) and services (BaaS, NOP+, etc). They intially gave away swap for free to gain adoption, which they now have at over 33 million cumulative swaps, averaging almost 65,000 swaps a day soon to hit 100,000 in 2024.

First, NIO will soon fall to $2.50. Watch and learn. Sales of Nio’s electric cars in China have been abysmal.

NIO has made 127 battery swap stations in Nov.. which is 4 stations per day.. charging station are highly profitable & right now its the only profitable department of NIO.. it is a great move by NIO to focus on it..

Perception of a stock can many times be the downfall and Nio has a bad sentiment on the street... Nio can walk on water for crying out loud however it's meaningless until they reach profitability.... which in all likelihood won't be for another year or two..... we could very well be sitting here talking in another year at 5 or 7 dollars a share

At this stage improvement of gross margins upto 8%, decrease in cash burn & increase in recurring revenue will be enough to boost the stock or aleast sustain its stock value..

I never understood why Nio stocks suffered the most as Chinese stock. In my view they are not worse or better than others.

it will not crash because of YoY growth.. deliveries were +75% yoy.. they have strengthened their balance sheet with bonds and exploring collaboration opportunity.. they are doing the best they can.. their management team is aggressive which can be a threat to its survival or it can be a success..

its not the Q3 earnings we need to worry about.. its Q4 earnings which is likely to be bad as for past 2 months their delivery numbers are just around 15k..

it will be a miracle if they attain profitability so fast, keeping in view their aggressive expansion.. with staggering capex expenditure they can't attain profitability atleast for 1 year from now.. but their battery swapping station revenue will likely speed up their path to profitability..

NIO delivered 55,432 Veh in Q3.. deliveries are little lower than expectation of 56000 Veh.. Revenue will likely be in line but cash burn & balance sheet is what we've to look into.. With cash from recent convertible bond offering balance sheet shouldn't be very bad.. lets hope for the best..
