What happened?
Unfortunately the Finnish government is not serious. Requiring people who are vaccinated to be tested and quarantined. It makes the country a "no go" zone. Even people who were thinking to go abroad have changed their minds due to the complexity with the return. I hope the government adopts the EU standard and the vacination pass. Let those who are vaccinated travel for G. sake!

There was some data breach in the systems of Finnair during the 4-5/3/2021. No customer credit cards were stolen, but it caused a bit of a disturbance in the systems. It looks like it almost killed a very nice momentum that we were building towards 0.8. I hope next week things will start to look better again.
The management presented a plan of re-purchasing of about 5m shares for use in the future. I think this is very bullish. I see us at 2e in June 🚀🚀🚀

Difficult to say as they issued a good amount of new shares in 2020 to raise money and this has diluted the stock. My target is 1.5 - 2 for the summer. I expect them to attack and get many new routes for the long term though. Norwegian and SAS are through bankruptcy protection and deep restructuring phase since last year, so it is the best opportunity after many decades for Finnair to make a big move and grow in the Nordics and potentially become the leader in the region. I am slightly optimistic for middle and long term - but your know Airlines is a tough and messed up sector anyway
Buy when there is "blood in the streets" as the value investors say. It's the perfect opportunity to buy airlines dirt-cheap. When do you expect to buy, after the pandemic when it will be overhyped at 2$ or more? Buy the deep!
You can't enter a flight without negative test result, which can cost up to 300€ per person in most countries, and this would be both ways. Positive test means you aren't going anywhere and staying at a hotel at your own cost for 2 weeks. Who is going to be flying?

I'm saying again, buy and HOLD. this stock will be at 0.8 - 1.0 before X-mas, maybe in this month, if all goes well. And I don't see any reasons why this would drop back to under 0.4...or even under 0.5.

Danel Trade- was it good idea to short 2 weeks ago? I bought more, and made already over 35% profits. And looks like I'm buying more today again. with the holidays and vaccine news, Finnairs stock will rise to 0.8 - 1.0 in this month. So my adviçe is to buy and hold more.
actually it was good as 50% of the shorts cashed in a day later and the ohter 50% still holding. Even if this spikes one more time, I will be holding as airplane business is rather dead so no income for the company

with the time of this chat, the stock of Finnair has risen ~50%quite collapse. And when you look at value of company's stock,it literally couldn't be cheaper as 0.41€. Why, you ask,? Because when you couldn't t the mathematic value of the stock,by thdmist common EPS related math, the result of Finnairs stock price, if they would plvankrupt even would be 41 cents. Yes it seems unligikal,but sometimes in FAIR capitalism like we have here, the markets can be go to comments wealth building at the same time with tha stock price of a company that government own's 58points of the stocks. Also, listen to me, I'm From Finland, I know something about aviation and money*, so, I have bought a lot of finnair every week since 8t hit 41,and I'm not gonna stop. the next summer us gonna rocket, at least a while.
