Instead of buying US Steel and leveraging up its balance sheet, CLF needs to authorize a special dividend to reward shareholders who have stayed with this dog or sell itself to Steel Dynamics. In any event, CLF needs new executive management.

P/E of 34 is way too high

CLFs stock continues its slide. Part of executive management's responsibility is to maximize shareholder value which isn't happening. Time to replace the executive management team!

The P/E being 33, the stock is way too expensive.

Instead of continuing to reduce debt, why not thank the shareholders who own this lousy stock with a special dividend?

CLF has been a lousy investment for a long time. I no longer have trust in the company's management. They always hype and then explain what went wrong. Share buybacks are not increasing shareholde value because the stock doesn't trade on an EPS basis.

With inflation estimates of 6-9% every year for the next two to three years… i dont think so… their steel is the purest and finest in the market… and if someone needs the best steel… they will always… always… be willing to pay up for it…

Based on everything I've read on this company, it's going to beat earnings on Friday and will be back up in the 20s in short order. May pick up a few more shares tomorrow. Looking good for CLF
