'On average, based on bp’s current forecasts, at around $60 per barrel Brent and subject to the board’s discretion each quarter, bp continues to expect to be able to deliver share buybacks of around $4.0 billion per annum and have capacity for an annual increase in the dividend per ordinary share of around 4% through 2025.' source: BP p.l.c. Is BP selling oil or liquid natural gas as well? Crude oil is declining in price but natural gas is on the rise !!!

It stops at 390p. Are we waiting for American markets opening to get direction and levels. Oil & Gas are rising as well as Shell above 2.5%.

BP is making a fortune with the constantly high oil prices. After the publication of the next quarterly numbers BP stock should jump to the lvl between 550p and 600p.

Agreed. Based on 2022 Q1 the P/E is around 5, extremely cheap. BP is a money printing machine right now. If they can sell the Rosneft stake, it would be better...

Wrong price for BP on 10 March 2022 at £3.20 probably should have been 320p. Some charts are totally distorted because of that. Anyone know how to report it with the aim of getting it corrected?

Parting with Rosneft should not have material adverse effect, read https://www.fitchratings.com/site/pr/10195911

BP is doing well but Serica which contributes 5% of all UK's gas is very undervalued and starting to gain serious attention. add it to your watch list for sure, DYOR.Ticker (SQZ)

ah...no.....now is when you should be buying with both hands

BP is also benefitting from high oil prices that should offset the losses
Does anyone know if BP's upstream and oil field operating activities would be affected by a (highly unlikely but nowadays much talked about) military escalation between Russia and Ukraine?

CEO Looney has answered my question, so nevermind.
1
28% of BP's 2021 earnings came from BP's 19.75% share of Rosneft. If the NATO countries were to impose sanctions against Russain gas and oil that would have a negative impact on BP's business to some extent.
