  • This company is a debacle. Its entire share base are dividend people desperately trying to exit. And after this, it cant hold a candle to TMobile and Verizon as a standalone. It's only hope was making something out of HBO max. The spinoff is a joke.

    • It's still in an uptrend channel. If it rebound from the lower. Good oportunity to buy.

      • Big boys are selling. Retail dip buyers are sopping it up. Retail is clueless. Feel bad for those who have been tip toeing out of big tech and into this stock hoping for a nice dividend and smaller play on tech. At $25, will be better risk/reward to play the tech expandion play via 5G infrastructure. I think 5G is bad for health so I will not be buying at any price. Was thoughtfully considering over last few weeks. But I am excited about DISCA. Have been watching that as well. Think it will bottom in 25-27 range sometime in mid to late June. Will wait for new ticker to be updated before buying. Have a feeling those holding T and DISCA until then will be in for a volatile ride.

        • Think it's going to 25. That's what big money is saying.

          • I will wait for to buy around 14-20 target.Too expensive with this values, doesn't grow, dividend cut, negative EPS... RUN while you can.

            • The stock drop after a « good » news. Why?
              0
              • posible dividend cut
                0
            • At least they didn’t end the dividends money is money. At least they can focus in growth and to eliminate debt. When debt is lower and control they can offer more in dividend.

              • Correct , The merge was a good act , Also not for sure they will cut the dividend , Dont believe what you read :)

                  2
                  • No.. they already announced a 50% reduction in dividen.
                    0
                  • yea. because they have alot of cash on hand and debt is mostly long term payout ration around 65% i think which is small bit high but fairely reasonable
                    0
                  • just got update ceo is cutting the dividend which is bad for passive income investors but i think he want to aim 40% payoutn ratio it will save the company cash cow feed fat
                    0
                • the traders that sell in panic are amateur
                  2
                  • So people who sold AOL and yahoo were amateurs? This ******is sinking and going to be flushed.
                    0
                • They will short the snot out of this today. Dividend cut in half. Institutions will look elsewhere.
                  0
                  • if it keep falling like this you soon have the same dividendprocentage 🤣
                    0
                • Buy some more. They sheading a bad deal is all.
                  0
                  • the only way to make money on this , will be to sell short
                    0
                    • a dividend cut will be the kiss of death for this stock
                      1
                      • I don't understand why people are so childish about the dividend thing. Read the numbers guys. T had eps -0.35c in the previous quarter, how exactly do you expect your 52c dividend per quarter be paid? With a new loan?
                        1
                        • It did not have such eps according to investing’s earnings tab of T
                          1
                        • Dividends are paid with FCF not earnings....It is true they need to turn over debt to be attractive to even dividend investors though
                          1
                        • Investors are always extremely childish. They always want to slay the golden goose rather than collect the golden eggs.
                          0
                      • Dividend cut in half. Do not buy the dip for the dividend. I will not be buying at all.
                        1
                        • 3% dividend is still a good dividend payout.
                          1
                      • Looks like analysts coming out with new price around $25. Such a shame it was on a good path. This is what happens when you disregard your shareholders and focus on the fast money like Eliott Mgmt. Why change div. strategy and go for capitals gains when the rates are going up., stupid, stupid, stupid.
                        0
                        • just a head fake buy buy buy the lower the better
                          0
                          • The ceo screwed all of us.
                            1
                            • This is a great deal for discovery. That guy is good. AT&T is held by the dividend guys. Mucho rocky roads ahead for it. Some have held a lifetime and dividend guys know, once a cutter always a cutter.
                              1
                              • they pumped it as a bait... who got the bait?:)
