What happens if lithium prices rally between now and the close of merger in 2025. Will the deal price put a cap on what this can gain?
Might as well sell at the share purchase price of 5.90 I believe. This probably won't go any higher and you will definitely be able to buy RIO cheaper at some point

i don't believe in the deal. this is just old Australian billionaire play
so when the sector of lithium production is in oversupply, while new actors (eramet) are opening lithium mines, while the sector may be temporarily in oversupply, while CATL starts to produce (heavier) sodium batteries, Australian billionaire and star of anonymous decide that it's the best moment to buy a lithium producer 🤔 I would wait a bit more, i bet we can expect a low ball offer.
