At 17:58:35 GMT, Turkish CB showed they were still in control, but they sure took their sweet time about it. Sorry for those who were not around to close their trades. I see that only 11 comments are shown - too bad the previous comments can not be seen. After the last two trading sessions, you have witnessed the power of a Central Bank.

There is no such a big economic problem  in Turkey to rise dollar against lira. It is artificial inflation and it always tends to return to the original state quickly like how it increased!..And it is clear that Trump will be impacted and stopped not to manipulate lira. If Turkey is out of Nato, it will change all balances on Middle East...Last movements in lira started incompatible with the momentum indicators and on limits, it is indicating that current movements will change direction soon...Hot news from government sources. Turkish central bank is applying intervention in order to drop dollar on monday...Millions people changed golden and dollars to lira after Erdogan's words...So?

Millions people changing dollars to lira? You really believe that anybody would change his hard earned money or gold for liras, just because Erdogan told you so? I don´t:)

Hi. I sold 10k USD at 4.62. Is there a chance the it will go to this level in the near future? or it is better to buy and stop the loss.

The CB is going to raise the value of Lira against the USD. How far? I don't know, but Erdogan needs the Lira to rise, if he is to remain in power. Best way to avoid these situations is to always use a stop to limit your losses, but you already know that.
