For the 2026 crop now being harvested, nationwide production damage from El Niño is probably limited. Most of this crop was formed before the present El Niño strengthened. Rabobank reported in June that harvesting conditions and yields were broadly normal, while official and private forecasts continued to indicate a very large crop. CONAB initially forecast around 66.2 million bags, while USDA’s forecast was approximately 71.9 million bags. Reuters reported harvest delays and quality concerns in southeastern producing areas, but also emphasized that farms are more resilient than during earlier El Niño episodes.
...important word is CONCERN, but no evidence at sight
For KC, this means El Niño provides a legitimate risk premium, but at present it does not fundamentally justify pricing a confirmed Brazilian crop failure. The market can still rally sharply because of positioning and low liquidity, even before agronomic damage is proven.
It might increase rapidly due to the changes in weather of Brazilian coffee
what is today's coffee price
l think it won't rise above 14000
