Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADVM) was up 40 cents, or 5.76%, to 7.35, on 1.36 million shares traded on Wednesday, and I put a swing out on it. After the big run-up and pullback, and then another pop and pullback, it formed some sort of coil. The OBV is not doing very well, and it’s at the high for the year. It looks like this stock wants to pop and go but needs to get over 7.85 to start the thrust to move over 8.60. If it does, it will confirm that it’s on its way to 10, and then 11 1/2.
Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR) broke out on Wednesday across last week’s suggestion range, formed a flag, and popped 2.49, or 7.3%, to 36.60, on 4 million shares traded. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 39 as early as Thursday.
Stocks on the Short Side….
Overstock.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:OSTK) broke that wedge on Wednesday beyond support and tumbled 3.60, or 6.9%, to 48.50, on 4.2 million shares traded. Any further damage, and we should see a retest of December’s lows around 42.
Dave & Buster's Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:PLAY) dropped another 1.02, or 2.26%, to 44.14, on 1 million shares traded. It’s right on the precipice of rolling over, and if it does, I’m looking for 39, and then we’ll see where it goes beyond that point.
