Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Wood, Paper & Printing, Holdings & Investments and Textile & Leather sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Anadolu Cam (IS:ANACM), which rose 4.66% or 0.150 points to trade at 3.370 at the close. Meanwhile, Yazicilar Holding (IS:YAZIC) added 3.97% or 0.84 points to end at 22.00 and Kartonsan (IS:KARTN) was up 3.86% or 10.70 points to 287.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Otokar (IS:OTKAR), which fell 1.71% or 2.10 points to trade at 120.60 at the close. Global Yat. Holding (IS:GLYHO) declined 1.67% or 0.050 points to end at 2.950 and Aksa Enerji (IS:AKSEN) was down 1.30% or 0.040 points to 3.040.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 217 to 114 and 75 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.68% or 8.55 to $1249.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 0.45% or 0.23 to hit $51.26 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.54% or 0.29 to trade at $54.46 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.64% to 3.7024, while EUR/TRY rose 0.48% to 3.9466.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 100.54.
