• LYFT (NASDAQ:LYFT)stock jumped 7% in premarket trade by 8:20 AM ET (12:20 GMT) after it reported a 72% jump in revenue and cut its forecast for full-year losses by $300 million after the close on Wednesday.
• Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) stock inched up 1.8% on news that it won a bidding war to sign up Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss, beating out rivals Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS).
• Cronos Group (NASDAQ:CRON) stock was up 7.5% after its second-quarter earnings beat estimates, reflecting rising demand in Canada.
• Viacom (NASDAQ:VIAB) stock rose 2.8% after it reported a profit of $1.20 per share on $3.36 billion in revenue, which was above forecasts. The company said its results were helped by growth in domestic ad sales.
• Roku (NASDAQ:ROKU) stock surged 17.3% after the video streaming device maker posted a per-share loss of only 8c, less than the 23c expected, as it added 1.4 million net new accounts in the second quarter.
• Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) stock gained 6.9% after it released its latest data center chip and said it had secured Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Twitter as customers for it.
• Zillow (NASDAQ:ZG) stock slumped 14.4% after its lost $0.14 a share, and said its new home-flipping business, Zillow Offers, would lose up to $80 million in the current quarter as it scales up.
