Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.95%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160), which rose 9.92% or 3.60 points to trade at 39.90 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010) added 6.17% or 1.49 points to end at 25.65 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) was up 4.67% or 4.60 points to 103.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which fell 7.85% or 2.70 points to trade at 31.70 at the close. Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201) declined 5.02% or 0.45 points to end at 8.51 and Wafrah for Industry and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2100) was down 4.12% or 1.35 points to 31.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 181 to 71 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.02% or 0.45 to 8.51. Shares in The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.67% or 4.60 to 103.20.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.07% or 0.80 to $74.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.80% or 0.65 to hit $80.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 6.10 to trade at $1,910.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.11% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 103.31.
