Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Real Estate Development and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304), which rose 9.90% or 1.60 points to trade at 17.76 at the close. Meanwhile, AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) added 3.49% or 0.74 points to end at 21.94 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 2.89% or 0.36 points to 12.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which fell 2.14% or 0.22 points to trade at 10.04 at the close. Advanced Petrochemical Company (SE:2330) declined 1.96% or 1.10 points to end at 54.90 and Savola Group (SE:2050) was down 1.67% or 0.55 points to 32.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 69 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.89% or 0.36 to 12.80.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.10% or 0.62 to $55.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.36% or 0.24 to hit $65.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.60 to trade at $1288.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.00% to 4.2397, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 96.820.
