Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.71% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4015), which rose 9.89% or 14.00 points to trade at 155.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 9.88% or 7.50 points to end at 83.40 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was up 9.68% or 2.18 points to 24.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (TADAWUL:2270), which fell 7.50% or 29.20 points to trade at 360.00 at the close. Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:2230) declined 5.85% or 0.34 points to end at 5.47 and Takween Advanced Industries (TADAWUL:1201) was down 4.48% or 0.92 points to 19.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 120 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4015) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.89% or 14.00 to 155.60.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.21% or 0.93 to $75.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.19% or 0.98 to hit $81.21 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.85 to trade at $2,034.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.04, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 104.06.
