Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financial Services, Telecoms & IT and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bank AlJazira (SE:1020), which rose 4.60% or 1.10 points to trade at 25.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) added 4.54% or 0.88 points to end at 20.28 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 4.40% or 7.60 points to 180.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210), which fell 2.31% or 4.00 points to trade at 169.40 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 2.25% or 0.70 points to end at 30.40 and Ataa Educational Co (SE:4292) was down 2.20% or 1.50 points to 66.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 106 to 99 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank AlJazira (SE:1020) rose to 5-year highs; rising 4.60% or 1.10 to 25.00. Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.54% or 0.88 to 20.28. Shares in Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) rose to 5-year highs; up 4.40% or 7.60 to 180.20.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.02% or 0.02 to $89.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.11% or 0.10 to hit $91.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 5.85 to trade at $1830.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.2713, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 95.945.
