Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 gained 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA), which rose 2.86% or 0.282 points to trade at 10.140 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae (LS:YSO) added 2.21% or 0.0190 points to end at 0.8790 and Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP) was up 1.49% or 0.0024 points to 0.1637 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Montepio (LS:MPIO), which fell 4.20% or 0.018 points to trade at 0.411 at the close. Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) declined 1.31% or 0.1800 points to end at 13.5850 and Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) was down 1.18% or 0.0200 points to 1.6800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 21 to 14 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA) rose to all time highs; rising 2.86% or 0.282 to 10.140.
Brent oil for May delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $51.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $48.79 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.15 to trade at $1229.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.14% to 1.0751, while EUR/GBP fell 0.42% to 0.8674.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 100.05.
