Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Property, Services and Banking & Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite lost 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were JG Summit Holdings Inc (PS:JGS), which rose 3.60% or 2.500 points to trade at 72.000 at the close. Meanwhile, Semirara Mining Corp (PS:SCC) added 2.97% or 4.90 points to end at 169.90 and Jollibee Foods Corp (PS:JFC) was up 2.04% or 4.80 points to 240.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alliance Global Group Inc (PS:AGI), which fell 1.47% or 0.200 points to trade at 13.400 at the close. Megaworld Corp (PS:MEG) declined 1.42% or 0.070 points to end at 4.850 and GT Capital Holdings Inc (PS:GTCAP) was down 1.31% or 15.00 points to 1130.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 109 to 93 and 38 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.48% or 6.21 to $1290.49 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.80% or 0.38 to hit $47.91 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 0.83% or 0.43 to trade at $52.09 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.27% to 7.6959, while USD/PHP fell 0.44% to 51.255.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 93.31.
