Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Materials and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.54% or 0.12 points to trade at 7.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 1.12% or 0.2 points to end at 17.1 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 0.94% or 1.1 points to 114.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 3.42% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.21 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.91% or 6.50 points to end at 216.60 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 2.75% or 0.67 points to 23.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 94 to 86 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.40% or 0.75 to $54.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.18% or 0.66 to hit $56.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.37% or 16.95 to trade at $1250.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 8.8217, while USD/NOK fell 0.39% to 8.3337.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 100.95.
