Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 2.48% or 0.29 points to trade at 11.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) added 1.99% or 2.6 points to end at 133.0 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.24% or 0.01 points to 1.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which fell 1.45% or 0.10 points to trade at 6.78 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) declined 1.42% or 2.00 points to end at 138.40 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was down 1.14% or 3.40 points to 294.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 111 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) rose to 3-years highs; rising 1.99% or 2.6 to 133.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.40% or 0.19 to $47.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $50.63 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1246.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.21% to 9.1568, while USD/NOK rose 0.28% to 8.4870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 99.52.
