Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 lost 1.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Davide Campari Milano SpA (MI:CPRI), which rose 0.88% or 0.07 points to trade at 7.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Snam SpA (MI:SRG) added 0.49% or 0.019 points to end at 3.894 and Banco Bpm SpA (MI:BAMI) was up 0.41% or 0.009 points to 2.207 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Prysmian (MI:PRY), which fell 4.12% or 0.70 points to trade at 16.30 at the close. CNH Industrial NV (MI:CNHI) declined 3.80% or 0.348 points to end at 8.802 and Moncler SpA (MI:MONC) was down 3.74% or 1.14 points to 29.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 243 to 105 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.60% or 0.37 to hit $62.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 3.90 to trade at $1243.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.21% to 1.1331, while EUR/GBP rose 0.17% to 0.8938.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 96.988.
