Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 1.17% or 75 points to trade at 6510 at the close. Meanwhile, Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) added 1.10% or 0.6 points to end at 55.0 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 1.05% or 25 points to 2402 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which fell 2.72% or 520.0 points to trade at 18600.0 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.91% or 220 points to end at 11300 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was down 1.75% or 460 points to 25790.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 230 to 184 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) rose to all time highs; rising 1.17% or 75 to 6510.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.37% or 0.62 to $45.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.86% or 0.89 to hit $48.68 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.77 to trade at $1223.47 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.61% to 3.5306, while EUR/ILS rose 1.18% to 4.0275.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 95.66.
