Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 3.78% or 316 points to trade at 8666 at the close. Meanwhile, Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) added 2.94% or 710 points to end at 24900 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.59% or 35 points to 2240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which fell 1.33% or 150 points to trade at 11150 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 1.21% or 17 points to end at 1393 and Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) was down 1.08% or 200.0 points to 18400.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 276 to 124 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) rose to all time highs; up 2.94% or 710 to 24900.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.55% or 1.16 to $44.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.66% or 1.28 to hit $46.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 11.32 to trade at $1211.98 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.34% to 3.5404, while EUR/ILS rose 0.15% to 4.0360.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 95.78.
