Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 3.28% or 21.9 points to trade at 689.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 2.32% or 340 points to end at 15000 and Osem (TA:OSEM) was up 2.31% or 188 points to 8339 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 1.04% or 750 points to trade at 71300 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) declined 0.48% or 23 points to end at 4769 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) was down 0.12% or 0.1 points to 82.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 207 to 120 and 127 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.74% or 1.06 to $59.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.17% or 1.40 to hit $62.87 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1199.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.8282, while EUR/ILS fell 0.04% to 4.3456.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 94.31.
