Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 2.43% or 16.0 points to trade at 675.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) added 2.38% or 189.00 points to end at 8137.00 and Migdal Insurance (TA:MGDL) was up 2.05% or 9.5 points to 472.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which fell 1.49% or 250 points to trade at 16500 at the close. Nice (TA:NICE) declined 1.37% or 340 points to end at 24400 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was down 1.25% or 190 points to 15070.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 235 to 134 and 86 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.93% or 0.56 to $59.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.09% or 0.71 to hit $64.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.92% or 10.90 to trade at $1200.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.06% to 3.8699, while EUR/ILS fell 0.78% to 4.2171.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.73% at 97.64.
