Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.08% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.39% or 136 points to trade at 4151 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 1.68% or 600 points to end at 36360 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 1.36% or 340 points to 25340 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which fell 1.18% or 18 points to trade at 1506 at the close. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 1.17% or 2.9 points to end at 245.5 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 1.06% or 23 points to 2154.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 211 to 141 and 95 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.67% or 1.70 to $44.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $46.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.23% or 3.15 to trade at $1341.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.03% to 3.7622, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 4.2233.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 95.41.
