Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 6.03% or 313.00 points to trade at 5,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 5.49% or 168.00 points to end at 3,229.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 3.06% or 950.00 points to 32,000.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 6.85% or 53.20 points to trade at 724.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 1.75% or 51.00 points to end at 2,860.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was down 1.65% or 530.00 points to 31,500.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 256 to 186 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 3-years lows; down 6.85% or 53.20 to 724.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.60% or 1.76 to $69.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.98% or 1.46 to hit $75.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.09% or 41.40 to trade at $1,941.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.05% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.36% to 3.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.93.
