Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 0.08% or 0.03 points to trade at 37.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell 0.14% or 0.0100 points to end at 7.0150 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was down 0.35% or 0.12 points to 33.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which fell 3.97% or 1.52 points to trade at 36.73 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) declined 3.86% or 2.10 points to end at 52.30 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was down 3.63% or 1.14 points to 30.26.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 20 and 18 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was up 1.14% or 0.59 to $52.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.92% or 0.45 to hit $49.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.69% or 20.89 to trade at $1257.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.52% to 1.1141, while EUR/GBP rose 0.26% to 0.8601.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 97.52.
