Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.20% or 0.0420 points to trade at 3.5540 at the close. Meanwhile, Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) added 1.07% or 0.25 points to end at 23.65 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was up 0.96% or 0.32 points to 33.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which fell 2.16% or 0.074 points to trade at 3.346 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 1.58% or 0.52 points to end at 32.39 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was down 1.50% or 0.47 points to 30.87.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 107 to 67 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for July delivery was down 1.40% or 0.68 to $48.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.22% or 0.59 to hit $47.82 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.25 to trade at $1248.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.17% to 1.1204, while EUR/GBP rose 0.27% to 0.7745.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 95.36.
