Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.03% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which rose 2.44% or 0.84 points to trade at 35.21 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 2.15% or 0.110 points to end at 5.230 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) was up 1.69% or 0.180 points to 10.800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 2.10% or 0.78 points to trade at 36.41 at the close. Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) declined 1.82% or 0.57 points to end at 30.69 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) was down 1.53% or 0.105 points to 6.760.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 84 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.69% or 0.180 to 10.800.
Brent oil for March delivery was down 2.04% or 1.16 to $55.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 2.22% or 1.19 to hit $52.53 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.79% or 9.15 to trade at $1160.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.41% to 1.0412, while EUR/GBP fell 0.19% to 0.8498.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.79% at 103.18.
