Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 1.29% or 3.40 points to trade at 266.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nets A/S (CO:NETS) added 0.97% or 1.20 points to end at 124.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.67% or 80 points to 11940 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.72% or 7.0 points to trade at 400.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 1.15% or 2.80 points to end at 241.70 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.13% or 5.4 points to 472.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.69% or 0.36 to $52.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $55.90 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.37% or 16.35 to trade at $1212.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.96% to 6.9464, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4365.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.11% at 100.40.
