Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.70% or 27.0 points to trade at 601.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.16% or 7.4 points to end at 350.3 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.44% or 4.20 points to 296.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 2.59% or 9.6 points to trade at 360.4 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.94% or 240 points to end at 12100 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.79% or 230 points to 12650.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; up 1.44% or 4.20 to 296.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.03% or 0.49 to $47.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.67% or 0.33 to hit $49.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.61 to trade at $1295.31 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.6005, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4385.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 96.58.
