Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 1.12% or 3.0 points to trade at 271.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.82% or 1.9 points to end at 233.5 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.55% or 3.0 points to 548.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.08% or 240 points to trade at 11310 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.88% or 210 points to end at 10960 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 1.64% or 23.0 points to 1383.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 37 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.55% or 3.0 to 548.5.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.73% or 0.35 to $47.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.22% or 0.11 to hit $50.81 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.15 to trade at $1254.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.70% to 6.8422, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4401.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 98.94.
