Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 6.65% or 21.9 points to trade at 351.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.81% or 13.00 points to end at 729.40 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.59% or 2.5 points to 415.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 3.31% or 7.2 points to trade at 210.0 at the close. DSV (CSE:DSV) declined 2.46% or 19.0 points to end at 753.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 2.07% or 2.5 points to 116.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 46 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.65% or 21.9 to 351.4. Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; rising 1.81% or 13.00 to 729.40.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.87% or 1.63 to $55.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.52% or 1.59 to hit $61.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 8.45 to trade at $1565.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 6.7633, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 97.520.
