Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.86% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which rose 3.69% or 4.6 points to trade at 129.2 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 2.58% or 6.20 points to end at 246.20 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.45% or 11.6 points to 485.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 4.42% or 1.69 points to trade at 36.58 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.03% or 230 points to end at 11090 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.78% or 210 points to 11620.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 47 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.71% or 0.92 to $52.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.97% or 1.11 to hit $55.13 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1187.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.9579, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4370.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 100.62.
