Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Industrials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.74% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.09% or 6.1 points to trade at 105.6 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 5.91% or 408 points to end at 7308 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was up 5.58% or 13.9 points to 263.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 0.08% or 0.4 points to trade at 505.4 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 0.34% or 0.9 points to end at 269.4 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.41% or 5.5 points to 1351.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.41% or 5.5 to 1351.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.55% or 0.30 to $54.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.79% or 0.46 to hit $58.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 9.55 to trade at $1521.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.7233, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4574.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 98.058.
