Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 2.44% or 22.60 points to trade at 950.20 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 2.22% or 4.05 points to end at 186.20 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 1.78% or 2.50 points to 143.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 1.77% or 2.00 points to trade at 111.20 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 1.00% or 1.25 points to end at 123.45 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 0.99% or 3.40 points to 341.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 66 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.80% or 1.45 to $82.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.60% or 1.36 to hit $86.19 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 18.45 to trade at $2,178.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 103.93.
