Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.24% or 7.20 points to trade at 328.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.14% or 2.40 points to end at 114.50 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.09% or 3.80 points to 185.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.60% or 154.00 points to trade at 9,480.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 0.85% or 80.00 points to end at 9,325.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.82% or 9.50 points to 1,143.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 71 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.23% or 1.07 to $85.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.44% or 1.31 to hit $89.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 3.90 to trade at $2,349.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 103.94.
