Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.34% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.33% or 150.00 points to trade at 11,460.00 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 1.09% or 2.30 points to end at 213.60 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 0.97% or 26.00 points to 2,706.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which fell 0.67% or 2.90 points to trade at 432.60 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.50% or 4.40 points to end at 871.80 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 0.44% or 1.80 points to 408.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 55 to 40 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.97% or 26.00 to 2,706.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.39% or 0.30 to $77.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.28% or 0.23 to hit $81.67 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 28.65 to trade at $2,364.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 104.80.
