Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.

Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.14% or 120.0 points to end at 10660.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.09% or 15.0 points to 1395.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which fell 2.94% or 940.0 points to trade at 31060.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 2.07% or 700.0 points to end at 33100.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 1.59% or 180.0 points to 11140.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 10 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.07% or 1340.0 to 66000.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.88% or 1.18 to $135.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 2.18% or 41.50 to hit $1943.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1240.65 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.32% to 3003.98, while BRL/COP fell 0.14% to 953.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 94.61.
