Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.21% or 140.0 points to trade at 11740.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Isagen SA (CN:ISG) added 0.88% or 35.0 points to end at 4000.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.75% or 460.0 points to 62000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 2.94% or 260.0 points to trade at 8590.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.61% or 55.0 points to end at 2050.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 2.27% or 0.4 points to 17.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 4.19% or 5.45 to $124.47 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.95% or 28.00 to hit $2905.00 , while the June Gold contract fell 1.51% or 19.25 to trade at $1255.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.17% to 3060.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.21% to 858.61.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.33.
