Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.11% or 700.0 points to trade at 64000.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones Y Valores Pf (CN:GAA_p) added 0.39% or 5.0 points to end at 1280.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was up 0.29% or 5.0 points to 1705.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 2.44% or 120.0 points to trade at 4795.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 1.61% or 200.0 points to end at 12220.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was down 1.49% or 0.3 points to 19.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 6 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.47% or 1.90 to $127.15 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.24% or 7.50 to hit $3156.50 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1207.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 2501.70, while BRL/COP fell 0.07% to 807.89.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 96.46.
