Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.36% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 2.78% or 0.5 points to trade at 18.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.91% or 480.0 points to end at 25600.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.75% or 280.0 points to 16280.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which fell 4.02% or 120.0 points to trade at 2865.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 2.42% or 80.0 points to end at 3220.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was down 2.08% or 170.0 points to 8020.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 13.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.27% or 2.88 to $129.25 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.76% or 23.50 to hit $3065.00 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.08% or 0.90 to trade at $1188.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.34% to 2543.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.63% to 803.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 97.49.
