Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.51% or 920.0 points to trade at 61920.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.04% or 280.0 points to end at 27260.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.56% or 140.0 points to 25340.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS), which fell 1.88% or 720.0 points to trade at 37520.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.41% or 15.0 points to end at 1050.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was down 1.36% or 55.0 points to 3980.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 3.71% or 5.35 to $138.90 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.17% or 72.00 to hit $2198.00 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.23% or 2.60 to trade at $1130.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.29% to 2987.39, while BRL/COP rose 0.88% to 908.35.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 103.10.
