Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 0.52% or 20.0 points to trade at 3870.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.48% or 60.0 points to end at 12480.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.34% or 40.0 points to 11740.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 3.02% or 300.0 points to trade at 9650.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 1.21% or 220.0 points to end at 17940.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was down 1.09% or 20.0 points to 1815.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 17 to 5 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.83% or 1.15 to $136.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.13% or 4.00 to hit $3002.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.66% or 8.95 to trade at $1341.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.33% to 2929.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.01% to 919.68.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 95.71.
