Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 1.22% or 340.0 points to trade at 28180.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.38% or 0.3 points to end at 22.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 0.83% or 10.0 points to 1215.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 2.21% or 220.0 points to trade at 9750.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 1.44% or 160.0 points to end at 10960.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 1.15% or 360.0 points to 30940.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.38% or 0.3 to 22.0.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 2.04% or 2.95 to $147.52 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.41% or 30.50 to hit $2198.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.08% or 0.95 to trade at $1185.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.83% to 2953.34, while BRL/COP rose 0.89% to 924.39.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 102.02.
