Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.83% or 100.0 points to trade at 2710.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 0.99% or 100.0 points to end at 10160.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 1.11% or 0.2 points to 18.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which fell 1.50% or 20.0 points to trade at 1310.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 0.91% or 100.0 points to end at 10900.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was down 0.84% or 80.0 points to 9420.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 12 to 12 and 7 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.91% or 1.47 to $162.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.67% or 18.00 to hit $2714.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.82% or 10.55 to trade at $1298.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.59% to 3071.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.60% to 948.81.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 97.45.
