Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.88% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 3.24% or 85.0 points to trade at 2710.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 2.26% or 280.0 points to end at 12680.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 2.42% or 35.0 points to 1480.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 0.79% or 0.2 points to trade at 25.1 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) declined 0.26% or 160.0 points to end at 62200.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 0.38% or 60.0 points to 15840.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 24 to 4 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.26% or 280.0 to 12680.0. Shares in Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.42% or 35.0 to 1480.0. Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 52-week highs; losing 0.38% or 60.0 to 15840.0.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.09% or 1.47 to $133.35 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 2.58% or 51.50 to hit $2048.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.72 to trade at $1230.42 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.20% to 2914.95, while BRL/COP rose 0.34% to 938.31.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 98.79.
