Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.16% or 50.0 points to trade at 2360.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemargos (CN:CCB) added 1.21% or 140.0 points to end at 11740.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.82% or 220.0 points to 27180.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 1.59% or 0.3 points to trade at 18.6 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 1.05% or 400.0 points to end at 37680.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 0.99% or 140.0 points to 14000.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 9 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.71% or 0.98 to $138.00 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.55% or 16.50 to hit $3006.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.65% or 8.75 to trade at $1343.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 2.50% to 2890.50, while BRL/COP fell 2.77% to 920.78.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 95.87.
